Mercedes-Benz India achieved the unique distinction of being the first luxury carmaker to open a dealership in Nagpur. Christened ‘Auto Hangar’ and located at the MIDC premises, the swanky dealership sits across 43,500 sq .ft. It was inaugurated by Mr. Peter Honegg, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India along with Mr. Mohan Mariwala, Managing Director of Autohangar India Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Honegg said “Mercedes-Benz invented the automobile more than 125 years back and we have pioneered the luxury car segment in India. It is our understanding of the Indian customer and marketplace which convinced us about the potential of Nagpur and its adjoining areas like Bhandara, Chandrapur, Yavatmal, Akola and Amravati.” He added that “Auto Hangar is one of our most experienced dealerships and they will ensure we serve the market effectively and efficiently.”

Created in a span of 3 months with an investment of INR 55 Million, the dealership offers a unique blend of accessories, collectables, valet service and the engaging Mercedes-Benz Experience zone among many others.
