Audi cam for you to see your mechanic

Nine of ten people are suspicious of the quality of service delivered while handing over their beloved cars at the service stations. But if you own an Audi, you no longer have to panic about it.

Audi, UK has introduced an 'Audi cam' that helps you keep a closer look at what the mechanic is doing with your car. With this program in place, mechanics will be wearing helmet cameras with two-way radios that let you monitor the entire job they are doing.

All your wishes have been answered with this simple head-mounted camera from Audi. The Audi-cam is a simple over-the-shoulder mounted camera designed to see exactly what the mechanic is seeing.
According to Audi's UK Director Jeremy Hicks, "Service departments throughout the industry are often accused of baffling customers with science - by offering ours full exposure to the work undertaken on their cars, and the ability to talk through that work with the technician involved, our aim is to demystify the process as fully as possible. We want to ensure that everyone who entrusts their Audi to us for servicing and repairs knows exactly where they stand and exactly what to expect."

Just not this, even if you are occupied during the day, the camera records the same for you and live-streams the video for you to see in the later part of the day and also helps you in case you sue the service centre. While this Audi-cam comes as a relief for you, it does is an alarm and a nightmare for the mechanics who cheat on spare-parts and deliver cheap and low-quality parts. So the next time you get your car serviced and receive a huge bill that you always knew was not equivalent to the service rendered, you know what you have to buy for your Audi.
